How to Get a Human... When Calling Customer Service

March 13, 2008 - 4:20pm
Are you fed up with companies that send you into a voice mail circle? By the time you get to option 99 you have forgotten the one you really need and have to start all over.

Well, we may have just the thing you need, a database that will help you maneuver through a company's recorded messages and prompts to reach a human being. The Gethuman 500 Database lists the company name, what kind of grade it receives from consumers, the contact phone number, and how to get to an actual customer service representative.

What may, or may not, surprise you is the wide variety of choices. For some you press 0 at each prompt, for others you may say a word, such as "agent". The list goes on. The companies are organized by type of business and you are able to rate how you feel about its customer service. An awful lot of the companies have received an "F" from its customers.
