New Video Aims to Help Residents Watch Out for Attacks

September 8, 2006 - 1:34pm
WASHINGTON - The Montgomery County Police Department has issued a new video, which county residents should watch, authorities say.

"The Seven Signs of Terrorism" is an informational video designed to educate citizens about types of suspicious behaviors that might precede a terrorist attack.

Montgomery County Police say there is currently no intelligence that suggests a terrorist threat to the community, but they also say the best offense is a good defense.

"It is critical for those who live and work in Montgomery County to partner with their law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles, and activities in their areas," the police say in a press release.

Those who wish to see the video can visit montgomerycountymd.gov. The video is about seven minutes long.
