ESCgov made its debut in Washington Technology's Fast 50 in the number one spot, just four years after Guy Speers and Raj Mittu formed the corporation in 2003. Guy Speers is an industry recognized expert in helping public sector agencies acquire the software licensing agreements they need on a large scale. Speers says, "The government budgets have been hammered, and the agencies are really challenged to field the number of licenses they need to support their mission." Companies to Watch - A&G Pharmaceuticals
Throughout her long and respected career in biomedical research, Dr. Ginette Serrero was never interested in pure theory. She always wanted to create a product that could be put to use in treatment. An important breast cancer discovery led her to found A&G Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Serrero's discovery of PCDGF/GP88 is so promising, the Avon Foundation recently awareded A&G an $870,000 grant, its first grant to a private company. Dr. Serrero had no formal business training, but says running university laboratories requires keen management skills, the ability to raise money, and the discipline to stick to a budget.
