Trains Running Normally After Man Hit on Tracks

March 31, 2005 - 7:02am
WASHINGTON -- The Metro Center subway station has returned to full service Monday after being disrupted when a man was hit by a train.

Metro says the Blue and Orange Lines were halted at Metro Center after the accident, but began running again shortly after 5 p.m.

It's unclear if the man fell from the platform or jumped. He died at the scene. Police are questioning witnesses to determine what happened.
